A Big Small Company

Albi Czech Republic Assoc. is one of the biggest domestic manufacturers of greetings cards, gift items, packaging ranges and board games in the Czech Republic. This is evident not only by the turnover of the company and the number of our employees, but also by the strategic partnerships which Albi has established all over the world, including such giants as the American firm, Hallmark or History Heraldry from UK. Albi is not a firm content with only domestic success. We are now also known by customers in Slovakia and Poland.

During the almost rocket-like expansion the firm has enjoyed since its inception in 1991, the principles upon which it was founded have remained valid. It was brought into existence by two young people who had ideas and an urge to start a business, for whom there was a chance to realize their dreams, but also to enjoy themselves. That's why Albi remains a fortunate exception to the rule.

The basis of the firm's philosophy is professionalism, maximum service for customers, a constant innovation in its range of goods and the search for new ideas and finally, the implementation of the newest technologies. But under no circumstances would we let it work to the detriment of good relationships and the spirit of playfulness within the firm. What the company wishes to sell, it must maintain within itself, i.e. entertainment and fun. Otherwise the director of the company would get no enjoyment out of it, nor would the employees.

Helping the environment and those in need is another mission of the company evident not only in the attempts of the firm as it stands, but also in our employees' commitment to these activities. The company is strengthened by the improvement and increasing pleasantness of the working environment (for example, the so-called Albi holiday). So Albi has the turnover and operations of a large-scale firm. But the good relations within and from outside the firm suggest that Albi has maintained the highest standards since its only two employees were its two owners: two friends and fellow college students.
